RNF Director closes 10-day boot camp, urges youth on entreprenuership
Our Founder and Director, Hon Namayanja Rose Nsereko over the weekend officiated at the closing ceremony of the 10-day boot camp held at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in South Western Uganda.
The boot camp that focused on heritage sustainability, leadership, social entrepreneurship and green economy, attracted over 30 youths from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Congo, Gambia and Germany.
RNF with inspiration from its founder has found it necessary to take up mentorship and training of the youth and women in order to encourage them to participate in governance and encourage up-take of the available leadership roles in their localities and sectors namely; politics, civil society, business, corporate world among others.
The beneficiaries have as well been able to participate in tourism activities such as forest trekking, cleaning of the park and the Gorilla tracks and community activities.
The boot camp was a result of a partnership with Faraja Africa a social entrepreneurship company in a long-term relationship to empower young people across the country and enable them to socially engage and build new social enterprises that will make a change to society.
